Alexandra Care Home with Nursing is a dual registered home offering the highest quality of care for both Nursing and Residential clients.
Here at Alexandra we adopt a holistic philosophy to care, and recognise the importance of individuality and respecting personal choice as a top priority.
The Alexandra is set in a former manor house, which has been modernised and refurbished to cater to the needs of our residents, but maintaining the original features of the listed building, offering a warm, homely feel to everyone.
The home itself comprises of 36 large single rooms, including some en-suite facilities and is currently under going a 35 bed EMD Unit extension (in addition to the already established 7 bed EMD unit within the original building).
We have a large garden are along with a gazebo for all to enjoy and our regular activities and outings are specifically organised with the needs of each resident in mind. We also have a successful residents committee supported by friends and relatives.
The Alexandra provides a relaxing and comfortable environment, regardless of it being a short or long term stay and our high standard of care, excellent home cooked meals and friendly atmosphere are recognised locally as well as reflected in our C.S.C.I. reports.
