You are assured of a warm welcome from either Matron, Mrs. Jennifer Chapman, the Unit Manager, Mrs. Tracey Farrington or any of the staff, some of whom have worked at the home since its' opening in 1991. Standing majestically in acres of landscaped gardens and woodland, dating back to the 17th century, the home was originally built as a family home, hence its previous name Asmall House. It now boasts two purpose built extensions designed to compliment its original homely comforts and situated within two miles from the centre of Ormskirk. Only half a mile from the bus stop but within easy reach of other community activities by mini-bus or taxi, Asmall Hall is a haven for those with care needs.

At Burscough we also have 4 beds providing rehabilitation care that will enables clients to return to their own homes when they are feeling better.
