ALISTRE LODGE

Alistre Lodge comprises of 2 houses which were converted into 1 large establishment in 2006. One which is a mock Tudor house built originally for family use which was converted to a Rest Home in 1983 (Designed) to meet the needs of the Elderly. The other was a large house again originally designed for family use which was converted to a nursing home over 20 years ago. The home enjoys beautiful landscaped gardens and a unique pond teaming with Koi Carp and a water feature.

Alistre Lodge is registered to accommodate 43 people aged 65 and over and personal accommodation comprises of 6 double rooms and 31 singles mostly with en-suite facilities. Each individually decorated room has a remote controlled television and has been designed to provide maximum space by the placing of fitted wardrobes, chest of drawers and bedside chests.

All rooms are connected to an emergency buzzer system for a quick and rapid response from staff members should you need assistance. Rooms can accommodate your own personal furniture and belongings (in accordance with current fire, health and safety regulations).

LYTHAM COURT CARE HOME

A sensitively converted Victorian property in a prime location, overlooking Lowther Gardens. Lytham Court provides specialist nursing care, tailored to individual needs, for clients with dementia.

There are spaceous lounges, in which residents can relax, interact, watch television or find peace and quiet. There are a number of rooms with en-suite facilities and double rooms are available for couples or companion sharing.

Our dedicated staff are headed by a registered manager, a matron who has many years of experience in caring for the elderly. Our managers provide hands-on supervision to maintain our tradition of excellence. All Staff are CRB checked and trained to an appropriate level, many with NVQ qualifications. Training is sponsored by the company as part of an on-going commitment to training and retaining high quality staff.

As in all our establishments, there is full disabled access, lifts to all floors and specialised equipment is available, e.g. for assisted bathing. Physiotherapy, Chiropody, Dentists and Opticians are all available on request. Also, local clergy of all denominations are encouraged to visit on a regular basis and can be arranged on request.

A full programme of activities is available to our residents, tailored to their needs and abilities. The company also has a mini bus service that can be used to take residents on day trips and visits.

The home is visited by hairdressers and a range of complimentary therapies can be arranged on request at your own cost. Accommodation is fully inclusive of laundry.

The home welcomes guests funded by Social Services and those who are privately paying clients.

This home is inspected and accredited by CSCI, in accordance with statutory government regulation. Lytham Court also currently holds a four star RDB rating, which is an independent quality assurance mark.
