HILLCROFT NURSING HOME BROOKHOUSE

Hillcroft Nursing Home Brookhouse in the main dates back to the seventeenth century and has retained many of its original features including our beautiful stained glass window above the main staircase. We have three units within the home - The Manor which is EMI nursing 19 residents. Most rooms are single and we also have companion rooms, most with en-suite facilities.

The Croft and The Cottage consists of 16 single rooms, all en-suite for frail elderly residents. The home is covered by a skill mix of Registered General Nurses and Registered Mental Nurses and trained Care Assistants.

The surrounding gardens are well maintained and accessible for summer strolls as well as being home to some of the local wildlife. We are conveniently situated near to Brookhouse and a short distance from Caton village where our local GP Dr Marriot has his surgery and looks after our residents on request. We have a regular bus service with a bus stop just outside the main gates giving access to Lancaster, Lonsdale, Ingleton and the surrounding areas.

HILLCROFT NURSING HOME WESTBOURNE

Hillcroft Nursing Home is situated in Lancaster close to the city centre, train and bus station.

We are a small, friendly home situated in our own grounds with beautiful gardens. The back gardens are fully accessible to our residents with disabled access, garden furniture, water feature and completely enclosed, only accessible from the main building. We have 20 bedrooms, all single and mostly en-suite, and fully furnished but we encourage residents to bring their own belongings. There is a choice of three comfortable lounges incorporating dining areas.

We provide a warm, friendly, homely atmosphere whilst giving expert care to our residents, aiming to provide individual care with dignity, choice and respect. Visitors are welcome at any time where we can provide privacy and light refreshment upon request. Staff encourage residents to take part in a wide range of organised activities and to continue with their own hobbies and interests for as long as possible.

Regular outings are arranged and relatives and friends are very welcome. We at the Hillcroft Nursing Home specialise in continuing care and early dementia and employ dedicated staff for the extra care needed for these residents.

LAUREL BANK CARE HOME

Laurel Bank is a purpose-built, delightful care home furnished and equipped to the highest standards. It is situated close to the city centre on a bus route and near to Castle railway station.

At Laurel Bank, six comfortably furnished lounges plus a conservatory and a large open foyer enable our residents to relax. The variety of surroundings presents views over the attractive gardens and patio to the Cumbrian fells. All the services are provided by a warm, caring and highly trained staff team.
