Croston Park is a 43 bed residential and nursing home, with a separate wing dedicated to dementia residents, all within spacious rooms, many with en-suite facilities. The home has been tastefully extended in recent years, yet keeping many of its original features - to continue providing excellent care for all of its residents.

Croston Park offers a nutritious choice of mainly locally-sourced food that caters for all needs, with a chef and kitchen staff who are only too happy to accommodate any off-menu choices if required.

GILLIBRAND HALL NURSING HOME

Gillibrand Hall, an elegant grade II listed building built in 1808, is set in two and a half acres of grounds with beautiful panoramic views. It is easily accessible and situated a few minutes from Chorley town centre. Restored to its original splendour, a sympathetic conversion has transformed the property into a nursing home. It provides a unique blend of first class technical and professional nursing care with a luxurious and elegant, yet homely environment.

Our dedicated staff are headed by a registered manager, a matron who has many years of experience in caring for the elderly. Our managers provide hands-on supervision to maintain our tradition of excellence. All Staff are CRB checked and trained to an appropriate level, many with NVQ qualifications. Training is sponsored by the company as part of an on-going commitment to training and retaining high quality staff.

As in all our establishments, there is full disabled access, lifts to all floors and specialised equipment is available, e.g. for assisted bathing. Physiotherapy, Chiropody, Dentists and Opticians are all available on request. Also, local clergy of all denominations are encouraged to visit on a regular basis and can be arranged on request.

A full programme of activities is available to our residents, tailored to their needs and abilities. The company also has a mini bus service that can be used to take residents on day trips and visits. The home is visited by hairdressers and a range of complimentary therapies can be arranged on request at your own cost. Accommodation is fully inclusive of laundry.

The home welcomes guests funded by Social Services and those who are privately paying clients.

This home is inspected and accredited by CSCI, in accordance with statutory government regulation. Gillibrand Hall also currently holds a four star RDB rating, which is an independent quality assurance mark.
