At Willowbank Nursing Home we aim to provide service users with a secured, relaxed and homely environment in which their care, well-being and comfort are of prime importance. Our motto is to provide “Care with Respect” for each and every service user’s privacy and rights. We strive to preserve and maintain the dignity, individuality and privacy of all service users within a warm and caring atmosphere.

In doing so we are sensitive to the service users ever changing needs. We recognise that these needs are not limited to nursing alone but also include social, spiritual, cultural and emotional aspects. Where possible, service users are encouraged to participate in the development of their individualised care plans together with the involvement of family and friends. Various training programmes are in place for all of our care staff to deliver safe and high standard of care. All the staff are required to attend training programs relevant to their particular area of responsibility. These training programs are in line with the latest initiatives, legislations, regulations and the Commission for Social Care Inspection guidelines.

Willowbank caters for all denominations.  We are an equal opportunity institution. Arrangements may be made for our service users to meet their religious worshipping requirements by arranging with the respective faith clergy to visit the home. However, if required, arrangements may also be made for the service user to visit specific places to worship with prior notice for the home to arrange transportation. Relatives, friends and representatives may visit at any time. If advised in advance, arrangements may be made for relatives to have a meal with the service user.
