Belvedere Nursing Home

BELVEDERE NURSING HOME

The Belvedere provides care services for elderly age 65 and above, Dementia and Nursing. We comply with Standard and Regulation as set out by the Commission for Social Care Inspection and the Care Regulation 2001. Belvedere was initially a purpose built Care Home operated by the Lancashire County Council. It was closed down in November 2005. It was then purchased in June 2006, by its current owners and underwent a complete refurbishment.

All rooms are single with en-suite facilities. Each Bedroom (all en-suite) has a Bed, Side Bed Cabinet and bedside lamp, Chest of Draws, Standing length Mirror, Wardrobe, Commode/Wheelchair and comfortable chair. Each Bedroom will still have sufficient space for Residents own furniture, should they wish to bring such with them. Each Bedroom has a minimum of one/two double electric sockets.

All Bedrooms have Nurse call facilities in both their Bedroom and En-suite.

There are total of six additional Bathrooms, two Bathrooms on each Floor (one Medi- Bath and one Hydraulic Bath) On the top Floor there is also an open shower Room.
There are Offices on each Floor and Staff Toilets. There are also visitors' toilets, Treatment Room and Staff meeting Room.
On the Ground Floor there are two Lounges, one Dinning Room and a Bar. The Kitchen area is also located here, adjacent to the dining area and fully equipped.

Outside there are sitting areas on the patio as well as the Garden, which are all enclosed by newly installed fence.

Hope House Care Centre provides nursing, residential and respite care for elderly people with physical frailty and those with mental health needs or in short or long-term convalescence.

Hope House Care Centre is a large purpose built two-storey care centre, with superb views over open countryside. The centre is situated within 2 minutes of the centre of Accrington with easy access to the M65 motorway. The nearest railway station is Accrington Station. Regular bus services to and from Accrington and Blackburn stop near to the Care Centre.
