Workshop (16 July) presentations from the Lancashire Resilience Forum and from Kirsty Macpherson (Alternative Futures).
Thanks to everyone who attended this event. We were pleased to see a packed session. We are responding to delegate feedback from the event. In summary, people felt the planning structures described, and the resources devoted to planning, needed to be more connected with the day-to-day pressures of 'front-line' care and the important role played by social care staff, and the importance of the independent sector (which delivers the vast majority of care in care homes and care at home, needed to be recognised. LCA are working with LCC to respond to this feedback and we will keep you updated on these pages.
If anyone has any queries to do with the venue, course content, exhibitors or other related matters, please contact LCA offices (01772 455574; sarah.luton@lancashirecare.org.uk).
