Criminal Records Bureau Increase Fees for Enhanced CRB Checks - April 2011
 
 
Please note that from 06.04.2011 the CRB are increasing the cost of an Enhanced CRB check by £8.00. Safe & Sure CRB’s administration fee for processing applications has been frozen at the current rate, (£11.00 per Enhanced CRB & £1.00 per ISA Adult First check)
 
Including the CRB’s increased rate please see below the new prices, these are effective from 6th April 2011. Please ensure that the correct payment is sent with your application otherwise it may be delayed.
 
 Enhanced CRB check : £55.00
 ISA Adult First check (previously known as POVA) : £7.00
 Enhanced CRB for Volunteer : £11.00
 Enhanced CRB with Job Centre Voucher : £11.00
 Enhanced CRB with ISA First Check : £62.00

Vetting and Barring Scheme Announcement – Registration Halted

The Government has announced their intention to remodel the Vetting and Barring Scheme (VBS) back to proportionate, common sense levels.  As a result, the ISA-registration stage of the scheme has been stopped and will not launch on 26th July 2010.  However, in order to request a disclosure check from 26th July 2010 all applicants are required to complete the new-style (purple) CRB application form.
