Safehands is a national provider of affordable quality Social and Domiciliary care to adults, elderly and children with disabilities. We provide a range of services for inclusion support teams, fostering services and escorted supervised visits. We also provide a domestic cleaning service.

We accept Direct Payments to take away the strain of you having to become the employer.

We provide holiday care to a number of disabled hotels in Blackpool. We liaise with social workers nationally to complete full care assessments to provide care ranging from 1 hours care per day to 24 hour personal and social care.

The Team

As an umbrella body of the Criminal Records Bureau all our staff undergo enhanced CRB checks. All go through a rigorous recruitment process and have two reference checks and undergo a 3 month probationary period. Staff are qualified to NVQ level 2 in health and social care as a minimum requirement and have ongoing training provided in-house and supplemented by external specialist training.

We have a social care manager, a team of social care coordinators and supervisors to ensure a high level of delivery to the service user. The majority of our care staff are full time employees.
