THE NEXT EDITION OF CAREFULLY WILL BE A CONFERENCE SPECIAL. THIS WILL BE OUT (PDF ONLY) MAY/JUNE. If you are not on the distribution list, or think you may not be, please email sarah.Luton@lancashirecare.org.uk.
IF YOU WERE A DELEGATE ON THE DAY AND YOU HAVE ANY FEEDBACK ABOUT CONFERENCE, PLEASE EMAIL paul.simic@lancashirecare.org.uk or ring the office (01772 455574) and I’ll get back to you. You may have compliments you want to extend, gripes you want to get out of your system, or ideas for how we might do things differently. We are really keen to hear from you.
We are in the process of routinely following up with exhibitors and sponsors as we do every year looking at lessons learned about running the North-West’s primary care event for the independent care sector. If you were an exhibitor at the 2010 event, or previous conferences, and have views or ideas you want to share with us, please email sarah.luton@lancashirecare.org.uk.
Just a quick note: from my point of view, both the Conference and Exhibition, our 12th, and our 4th Charity Gala Dinner, in aid of Alzheimer’s Society, were a great success and gave a very positive picture of the independent sector as resourceful and creative and one with the ideas, spirit and energy to take a lead in directing how the care sector develops over this next period when ever-higher aspirations - from providers, users, commissioners and government - meet face to face with the full impact of the current economic circumstances and a new administration, whatever its colour(s). Thanks to everyone concerned – sponsors, exhibitors, delegates, speakers, LCA staff and Board, Glasgows group for audio visual and staging, and, last but not least, the Dunkenhalgh Hotel and Spa for hosting yet again and making us feel so welcome.
