Abbendon EMI Nursing Home provides residential nursing care for older people who are suffering from Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, dementia and other similar conditions. At the Abbendon we offer a secure, homely and comfortable environment so our residents can lead fulfilled lives.

 Our EMI Nursing Home has 24 beds and we provide both long term and respite care. Being a relatively small home allows us to function as a close community. We provide the quality nursing care that our residents require, always to the highest standard and we treat all our residents with the respect and dignity that they deserve. Our accommodation is comfortable and modern and the home is tastefully furnished to be a home from home. Abbendon offers excellent facilities to keep our resident's minds and bodies active and stimulated.

Abbendon is in Southport in the North West of England which is a traditional seaside retirement town with a beautiful coastline and an elegant Victorian centre. A full programme of entertainment is arranged by our team; music is especially important in many of the activities, ranging from sing alongs to reminiscing. We also arrange regular trips out using our specially adapted minibus, we often take a picnic prepared by our cooks and relatives are more than welcome to join us.

Welcome to Dovehaven Residential Care Home. We provide quality residential care for people over the age of 65. Our friendly staff provide a professional level of care in a comfortable and relaxing environment and ensure that we maintain independence, privacy and dignity for all of our residents.

 Our care home was one of the first Residential Care homes to be registered in Sefton under the registered homes act of 1984, and has been designed to meet the advanced requirements of the act. Dovehaven Residential Care Home offers excellent facilities to ensure that our residents enjoy their time here and are as comfortable as possible. Our 38 rooms are all comfortably furnished to a high standard. There is a nurse call system in every room and many rooms are en-suite. The building is fully accessible for those with disabilities, featuring a passenger lift, several stair lifts and Parker bath.
 

Located in the traditional Victorian town of Southport, Dovehaven Residential Care Home is in a relaxing location, with easy access to the town centre and all of its amenities and beautiful coastline. We offer an in house video service and a large print weekly newspaper is available to all residents. We also offer a regular, varied programme of activities ranging from Bingo and other games to twice weekly trips out using our specially adapted minibus.

We have a specially adapted minibus that we use for twice weekly coach outings to scenic locations within the local region, all of which we have found to be very popular within the home and enhance the quality of life of our residents.

The living spaces are both spacious and plentiful so as to provide clients ample room to explore, wander freely around, as well as being able to find that quiet area for some down time.

At Millbrook, we aim to provide care for each individual based on a thorough holistic assessment process. We strive to focus on the positives and encourage independence where possible. Millbrook House EMI Nursing Home offers excellent facilities to ensure that our residents enjoy their time here and are as comfortable as possible.

Our EMI Nursing Home has 40 single rooms, 32 of which are en-suite, providing care for both long term and respite clients. Our home is in the enviable position of having extensive living spaces, which provides the more mobile client plenty of scope for exploring, and being able to find quiet areas for alone time. We are in the process of developing a visual and auditory sensory room within Millbrook, which we feel, will enhance the quality of life for our clients. A full activity programme is in operation along with opportunities to participate in trips out using our specially adapted minibus.
