At Cornmill we provide for 48 care beds, both nursing and residential and have a number of persons with a physical disability. The home is run with the intention that each resident achieves the best social, physical, mental and emotional health whilst in our care. One is able to choose the care that suits ones needs - long term care for those who need daily personal or nursing care, short stay for those who require a holiday, convalescence or post-operative care.

NORTHLANDS VILLAGE REST HOME 

Welcome to ‘Northlands’. Our aim is to provide a warm, homely and friendly atmosphere and to give a level of care best suited to the need and requirement of the individual.

Maintaining at all times the six principles of care which ensure that their PRIVACY is respected, their DIGNITY is maintained, their INDEPENDENCE is encouraged, that they have a CHOICE of lifestyle, their RIGHTS are assured and not least that their life has FULFILMENT.

We enjoy a close relationship with the health centre opposite who provide an excellent service, regularly checking on the health and general well being of all our residents.

We provide 24 hour trained, caring and helpful staff who will assist residents in such a way as to enable them to continue living as independently as possible. There is a senior member of staff on duty throughout the night should assistance or company and a cup of tea be required.

The home caters for 15 residents and has 15 single rooms.

There are two main bathrooms one of which has an assisted bath, the other having shower facilities.

There is a passenger lift. There are 3 communal rooms; sun lounge, TV lounge (with loop system for the hard of hearing) and quiet lounge/library.

Our cook provides good home cooking and caters for special diets if required.

‘Northlands’ is situated in the village of Gt. Eccleston, the home is within walking distance of most amenities: shops, doctors surgery, WI. Hall, bowling green and public transport.

WESTWARDS HOUSE RESIDENTIAL HOME

Westwards House is a purpose built care home at the heart of Garstang. To the rear of the home are well maintained sensory gardens with lawns, seating areas and water features.

Westwards House offers plenty of activities and outings for those that wish to participate.  Arts and craft sessions are very popular, especially at occasions through the year when residents have the chance to make seasonal gifts or cards for their loved ones.

The home offers accommodation for 19 people, aged 65 and over, in single bedrooms most with ensuite facilities.

Expeienced and trained staff are on hand to provide high standards of care.
